Dr. Wolf von Laer is Students for Liberty’s (SFL) Chief Executive Officer with over four years of experience directing all aspects of non-profit management with 65 full-time employees, 2,700 donors, and 3,400 volunteers in 100 countries. Wolf frequently speaks on topics ranging from non-profits, fundraising, strategy, economics, and public policy to audiences ranging from dozens to over 5,000 people in the US and worldwide. Wolf holds a PhD from King’s College London in Political Economy, a Master’s in Austrian Economics from Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, and a Double Bachelor’s in Economics and Social Science from the University of Erfurt in Germany. His publications include a book on monetary policy, a peer-reviewed journal article on policy uncertainty, and chapters and book reviews about economics, regulation, and non-profit strategy.
